PPA "sources.list entries" section lists old series

If I have packages in my PPA from a previous series (such as Gutsy), and then I delete all the packages from that series, the combo box with which you can select a series to view still has the old ones listed.

See https://edge.launchpad.net/~bruce89/+archive for instance, both Gutsy and Intrepid shouldn't be listed.

I'm not sure why the old series should not be present in the filter?

If I want to filter for all the deleted packages in Gutsy, currently I can:

1. visit https://edge.launchpad.net/~bruce89/+archive
2. update the filter to search for packages of 'Any status' in 'Gutsy'

I am then presented with a bunch of deleted and superseded packages.

If we did not include the series for all published packages (past and present) we would not be able to find older packages for a specific series? Maybe we don't need to be able to do so? Thoughts?

Well, surely the sources.list combo should only show the versions for which packages are actually installable?

I think one of you is talking about the sources.list selector, the other, the package filter :)

Yep, you're right - I misunderstood and thought we were talking about the package filter... sorry!
