Bug Description
Binary package hint: tuxtype
I run Ubuntu 8.04_64 on M2N-MX SE motherboard PC using nvidia driver to display resolution 1360x786 on my LCD TV. Everithing runs OK until I launch tuxtype (or tuxmath - exactly the same thing happens) - the recent version from repositories as of today, 26 May 2008..
As soon as I launch it there is no signal on my TV and I get message "Mode not supported" on the screen.
The only thing I can do from there is to go to Ctrl+Alt+F2 and type "sudo shutdown now" which reboots the X server.
Additional info: I run this PC for a child and Gcompris, Childsplay, Tuxpaint and CircusLinux all run OK.

Does this just affect fullscreen mode ("tuxtype -f") or also windowed
mode ("tuxtype -w")?
