Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Occasionally Firefox locks up with no provocation. This happens regardless of the webpage I'm on. Sometimes it's a hassle to force quit firefox if it locks up. Attempting to restart Firefox sometimes makes sleeping processes in the background, sometimes using as much as 88 MB of memory. Sometimes still, Firefox will refuse to load up, instead creating sleeping background processes, multiple retries making multiple processes.
These problems happen randomly, I apologize that I cannot pinpoint how or when this happens.

Confirm.
Sometimes ff3 locks up with no visible reason but when I actively surfing the web.
Possible cause is memory management routines trying to be low on resources but fails.
Probably cache cleanup routines (sometimes ff3 freezes while doing lot of disk IO).
But in my cases program is getting alive after 30 sec to 2 minutes of freeze...
