Hi, and thanks for reporting this bug. Many firefox addons are still not compatible with Firefox-3.0, and the problem is not relative to Ubuntu. For that reason, this bug report is being closed. Future bug reports related specifically to Firefox and firefox addons, and not to Ubuntu should be reported upstream at bugzilla.
