Bug Description
hi,
the following bug: system doesn't shutdown (i686-kernel).
last messages are:
- umount: tmpfs busy ... remounted read only [OK]
- Shutting down LVM Volume Groups [OK]
- Error evaluating _GMT
- Power Down (the only thing stops are the hdd's)
platform: intel 865PE (i686-kernel)
the error occurs after a clean install (updates incl.) too (i386-kernel).
it's my first bug report. i don't know where to put this report in. so it's
ubuntu base. if you need further information (bootup messages you'll find here:

already known (i have really searched!): sorry for this report.

p.s. if anybody wants to have a look at my hdd-config. :D i guess there is
another bug :/ ... but i don't know it.

If possible, please upgrade to Dapper's 2.6.15-7 kernel. If you do not want to
upgrade to Dapper, then you can also wait for the Dapper Flight 2 CD's, which
are due out within the next few days.
Let me know if this bug still exists with this kernel.
