Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

I notice that sometimes, when I launch a panel launcher, the window it creates for the zoom animation is temporarily either garbage, or blank, before it renders properly. I notice this in other situations, such as with menus and other windows.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.

I saw a fix go into X a while ago, it looked like it reduced performance but they were just testing it. This may come back, but I'll close this for now.
