Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdenetwork-kde4
Packages from kdenetwork module (kopete, kppp, krdc, krfb) in version 4.0.4 in hardy backports depend on Qt 4.4:
kopete-kde4 (libqtgui4 >= 4.4.0, libqtcore4 >= 4.4.0, libqt4-xml >= 4.4.0, libqt4-qt3support >= 4.4.0, libqt4-network >= 4.4.0, libqt4-dbus >= 4.4.0)
kppp-kde4 (libqt4-dbus >= 4.4.0, libqt4-qt3support >= 4.4.0, libqtcore4 >= 4.4.0, libqtgui4 >= 4.4.0)
krdc-kde4 (libqt4-xml >= 4.4.0, libqtcore4 >= 4.4.0, libqtgui4 >= 4.4.0)
krfb-kde4 (libqt4-network >= 4.4.0, libqtcore4 >= 4.4.0, libqtgui4 >= 4.4.0)
I think it should work with Qt 4.3, so that users who do not want to update their Qt version can update KDE nevertheless.

kdenetwork-kde4 4.0.4 and Qt 4.4 are both in backports, so the dependency is not a problem. The concern about not being able to update KDE without updating Qt may be a valid one, but since that's the packages we have in backports, changing this could cause other problems. I am closing this since it will not be fixed. Feel free to report any other bugs you may find.
