Redirect Loop

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

The browser has stopped trying to retrieve the requested item. The site is redirecting the request in a way that will never complete.

    * Have you disabled or blocked cookies required by this site?
    * NOTE: If accepting the site's cookies does not resolve the problem, it is likely a server configuration issue and not your computer.

This is most likely an extension issue. Please disable your extensions
in dialog accessible through Tools -> Addons menu.

If you know which extension caused this or the problem doesn't
disappear let us know.

waiting for response ...

Same here.

I have disabled all my extensions and the problem still exists.

Plese give us the url where you get the infinite redirect. Please come
up with an example of a public available url in case one needs an
account.

Also please report the website as broken in the "help" menu.

I've got something new: I tried to access http://mail.yahoo.com and it failed again (infinite redirect).

Then I tried to access my emails by clicking on "Mail" on the http://www.yahoo.com homepage, and it failed again.

Finally, I signed out from YaHoo! (on the homepage), then I returned to YaHoo! Mail directly and got prompted with the usual login screen. I entered my credentials and I accessed my emails!

I assume this is an ad hoc fix for those of you who encounter this problem.

Concerning the bug, it could be related to the cookie, as there is an auto-redirect for users who have already signed in (i.e. their "remember me" option).

Note that I have not reported that the site was broken.

Sounds like a web-application bustage (on server side - aka a yahoo
bug).

On one computer, I experience this on both Google Calendar and Westlaw. I am reopenning it. Firefox 2 worked fine. It also appears that this happens on other builds of Firefox 3, so I don't think it is merely the Ubuntu build.

Ok, clearing the cache and the cookies fixed the problem (although it didn't a few days ago).

The site I'm trying to access and am successful is bcauction.ca but then when trying to login to bid or pay for items get the bad referer message.
I've disabled all addons and ad deleted all cookies but no success.
