I have an external hard drive with several music files. 3 folders - flac, mp3, and music (contains wma files). The hard drive has the NTFS file system. Double click on flac files and they play in the movie player. Double click on the mp3 files and they play in Rhythmbox. Double click on the wma files and Rythmbox gets an import error. Different message than before; Filename is listed, then error is listed as "The GStreamer plugins to decode "Unknown" files cannot be found"

No, not now. Rhythmbox seems to handle all three files types well.

First of all sorry for my English.
I have the same bug. But the reason, I think is the Flash in my browser, becouse if it's running & I trying to play something in rhythmbox, I see this error. If browser is closed - everything is ok! What should i do? How to fix this?

Same bug but different way of acting, its not just rhythmbox, but also amarok and totem, first of all when i start an mp3 file it opens it with totem, i have to select rhythmbox manually, then, when i open rhythmbox it doesn't show the song title but only a red alert icon, i already have executed
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-repositories
sudo apt-get install libxine1-ffmpeg libarts1-mpeglib libarts1-xine libakode2-mpeg

but without results, i then tried downloading the following package:
gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3. but terminal says that there isn't such package

what am i to do to be able to watch a dvd or to listen a song??

I got the same error message on a fresh and up to date install of 8.04. The error occurs when trying to use the last.fm plug-in. I have attached the log file.
