Bug Description
Despite having just downloaded lastest package information (either by clicking ¨check¨ from update-manager, or by using ¨aptitude update¨ update-manager still says ¨The package information was last update 11 days ago.¨ This persists after restarting update-manager.

Update - this appears to be caused by one third party repository being unavailable. It does not seem appropriate to record the package information as not updated in such a case.
