Request: create a page up / page down input action

My current HTPC software, Freevo, has a nice feature that Elisa could do with. The channel up / channel down buttons on my remote double as 'page up' / 'page down' - they scroll through lists a whole page of entries at a time. This makes scrolling through my audio or video collection with a remote control a hell of a lot more usable.

It would be nice for page up / page down actions to be defined in Elisa, then I could bind them to some buttons on my remote control with my .lirc file. Thanks.

Reopening, this doesn't work anymore, in upicek, at least:

I like this, but lets be careful...

1. Make sure that when the user presses page down say 5 times... then they press the down arrow key that the first entry on the page is highlighted. (or cursor follows the page up/down commands and selects first entry (entry with 100% opacity) on each page?).

2. I assume we can map this to other remote controls out there? (Apple remote it would be nice to put in place a quick double click up/down to do the same thing perhaps... but I know windows wise, supporting that remote isnt easy).

*All random thoughts, but... throwing it out there and not set in stone ideas.
