evolution mail does not play sound on receving new mail

PLEASE MARK AS "NOT A BUG". Evolution played the sound fine when i received the malone bug report confirmation.

Using Evolution on breezy ppc

I tried to setup evolution to play a custom sound. The sound is available for preview here...

I have "sound for events" enabled in my sound preferences (System -> Preferences -> Sound).

I also have "play sound when new mail arrives" enabled under "new mail notification" in 'edit -> preferences -> mail preferences' in evolution.

The file permissions are -rw-r--r--.

The beep for new mail does work, but I want to play the cool star trek wav file :)

Plus, it might be a good idea to have a test sound button right next to selected sound file to test if the sound works.

Not A BUG!!

Sorry, but evolution plays the sound!

It was not playing the sound in my several other tests, as I had sent the mails from accounts which evolution was configured to play sounds from.
