Thank you for your suggestion. However, the changes you are requesting aren't really a bug and require more discussion, which should be done on an appropriate mailing list or forum. http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community/mailinglists might be a good start for determining which mailing list to use.

In addition. It requires only a simple click on the homepage button to load the homepage.

Update manager installed new Fire fox updates. After the update:
1. I lost my bookmarks and shortcuts,
2. The start page do not show the web site which I specified as a defualt. Instead it shows empty tab, but when I click home icon it shows my default web site.
3.When I click on a link, the address of any new web site is missing from the address bar and the animation of loading the page keep running. And I can not go back to the previous site.

Hi,
The issue above solved (and other side effects) after following these steps:
1- Close Firefox if it is open.
2- Open your home folder in Home >> [put the name of your user folder here]
3- Firefox setting folder named .mozilla and it is a hidden folder. Click on Ctrl+h to show it.
4- Delete .mozilla folder
5- start Firefox.

It worked....

Regards

following those instructions will delete all your histroy bookmakrs
and privacy data. So please dont follow those without backing up that
