Bug Description

Error while Opening folder exchange://<user>@<mailhost>/;personal/Inbox.

No such folder.

Notice the extra semi-colon?

Where the frack is that coming from???

I turned up debugging and ran the exchange server part from the command line
check this out.

added path : /personal
added phy path : exchange://<user>@<mailhost>/;personal
added int path : https://<mailhost>/exchange/<user>/ added path : /favorites
added phy path : exchange://<user>@<mailhost>/;favorites
added int path : https://<mailhost>/public
added path : /public
added phy path : exchange://<user>@<mailhost>/;public
added path : /gal
added phy path : gal://<user>@<mailhost>/gal
SEARCH /exchange/<user>/ HTTP/1.1

It is getting the int path and path correct but adding a semi-colon to each
physical path.

I also see this. 4 hours ago I updated to these versions and first saw the problem:

ii evolution 2.4.1-0ubuntu3 The groupware suite
ii evolution-data-serve 1.4.1-0ubuntu1 evolution database backend server
ii evolution-exchange 2.4.0-0ubuntu1 Exchange plugin for the Evolution
groupware suite
ii evolution-plugins 2.4.1-0ubuntu3 All bundled plugins for Evolution 2.2
ii evolution-webcal 2.4.1-0ubuntu1 webcal: URL handler for GNOME and
Evolution

About an hour ago, I updated again, received the following versions and still
have the problem.

ii evolution 2.4.1-0ubuntu4 The groupware suite
ii evolution-data-serve 1.4.1-0ubuntu1 evolution database backend server
ii evolution-exchange 2.4.0-0ubuntu1 Exchange plugin for the Evolution
groupware suite

Umm, so it was working fine before this? Do you know what versions you were
running before?

Tks,

Looks like this bug is the same as mine (#16967)

I see that the semicolon is there for me as well.

For me, it actually wasn't working fine before this...the backend process
(evolution-exchange-storage) kept dying. I was in the middle of trying to get
more information to post a bug when some updates (a couple of evolution
packages) came out yesterday (but not for evolution-exchange). After updating,
this problem appeared (well, sometimes I get this, sometimes I get "Could not
connect to Evolution Exchange backend process: no such file or directory").

I'm not sure what version I had before, but current versions are:
evolution-2.4.1-0ubuntu4
evolution-data-server-1.4.1-0ubuntu1
evolution-exchange-2.4.0-0ubuntu1
evolution-plugins-2.4.1-0ubuntu4
evolution-webcal-2.4.1-0ubuntu1

I distinctly remember that evolution-exchange did *not* upgrade. There is a
thread about this in the breezy forum
(http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=65293&highlight=evolution), and I
think the assumption is that we're waiting for
evolution-exchange-2.4.1-something; someone even posted instructions for
building it from source.

  If I'm reading /var/log/dpkg.log correctly:
ii evolution 2.4.0-0ubuntu3
ii evolution-data-serve 1.4.0-0ubuntu2
ii evolution-exchange 2.4.0-0ubuntu1
ii evolution-plugins 2.4.0-0ubuntu3
ii evolution-webcal 2.4.0.1-0ubuntu1

I did have a problem opening the "Sent Items" folder with these versions (I
forget the error), but I could get into Inbox and others.

I'm having exactly the same problem running

evolution-data-server 1.4.1-0ubuntu1
evolution 2.4.1-0ubuntu4
evolution-plugins 2.4.1-0ubuntu4
evolution-webcal 2.4.1-0ubuntu1

Error msg as follows.
Error while Opening folder
exchange://j<username>@<exchangeserver>/;personal/Inbox. No such folder.

But it can connect to the folder to see the sub folders and that I have new
mail, just not the contents of the folders.
