Bug Description

There seems to be a weird bug in the flashplugin-nonfree package (on x86). Its available in multiverse but if I try to install it, apt complains that its not.

It is possible to install it via aptitude by going to the package details and chosing 9.0.124.0ubuntu2 from the Versions list but then adept_updater starts to complain that it wants to update the package (which it can't do).

Yes, I even manually removed /var/lib/apt/lists before doing so.

Oh, forgot to mention: This happens for quite a while now, at least one or two weeks.

I ran 'apt-get update' a few times already and it doesn't help. But I'm back on my machine (the one which behaves so weird is my mother's) and it flashplugin-nonfree (re-)installs fine here. Very weird, all I could think of why this might happen is that we use different mirrors. But the package exists on the de.archive.ubuntu.com mirror.

So it seems like that brokenness is a special foobar on that box, even though it happens to flashplugin-nonfree only. Sorry for bothering you :)
