Binary package hint: slapd

This affects openldap2.4 rather then openldap2.2 as listed in the overview above but could not find the appropriate one.

This is a consumer issue, not a provider issue, but I am not in the
matter so I can not tell if these patches do fix the problem.

They most probably do. We just have to decide will we patch current
openldap or bring newest version of it. Please wait couple of days...

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - the Intrepid Ibex.

Moreover, the version in hardy is 2.4.9 which has the fix included according to Howard's message.
