Nautilus crashes when copying the same folder

If you try to copy a not empty folder "foo" in the same folder, it should create a new folder called "copy of foo", but instead of that, Nautilus crashes.

$ mkdir foo
$ touch foo/bar
$ nautilus .
ctrl+c & ctrl+v on foo dir, nautilus crashes

Tried duplicating the bug, but was unsuccessful.

Same behavior here. My 8.04 version was upgraded from 7.10 with dist-upgrade. Nautilus does not crash for me on Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V but with Edit->Copy and Edit->Paste with folder `foo' selected.

I have talked about with some other friends and also have this problem. We all have in common Ubuntu Hardy in Spanish (maybe something wrong with location?).

what locale do you use? the spanish translation has a known issue causing a such crash

that's bug #197224, you can try daily packages on "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-langpack/ hardy main"
