Firefox 3beta5 on 64bit, Organise bookmarks stopped showing bookmarks

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Firefox works a treat but following deletion of bookmark folder in "Organize bookmarks" all folders have now disappeared. I still have bookmarks when "Bookmarks" clicked.
Ubuntu 64 bit 8.04, updated today.

I only have bookmarks menu and bookmarks toolbar folders in there.

do you still have your profile backed up before deleting that folder?

Alexander,
Sorry for slow reply, Unfortunately I do not have backup requested, I
got fed up with bookmarks and loosing sound so I re Installed and forgot
to backup files for your use. Will not forget next time. My old computer
which does have relavent backup of Home folder which was used following
8.04 installation is malfunctioning and I don't know how to access due
to continuous re-booting.
