Is this a dialog still or just the yellow notification pane on top of
the browser window?

Yes, this is a true dialog box. (I have not seen a cookie-related yellow notification pane--should I be seeing one?)

The dialog box opens over the browser window, in the usual way. However, the focus in the underlying window switches to the newly opened tab, instead of remaining on the original tab.

I'd like to mention that I still see this. It is highly annoying and only started happening with 3.0

We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest firefox version? Thanks in advance.

No, it seems to be working as expected now.

Thanks very much for fixing this, and all other efforts on a fine browser.
