Windows (x64) fonts selection broken

I'm on Windows x64 SP2 and encountered 2 blocker issues for Inkscape use on Windows.

I have used 0.45.1 in the past to type, for example, Japanese without any problems.

I installed 0.46 (no Inkscape installed prior to this). And tried to select another font than 'Sans'. The drop-down box lists all my fonts correctly. Yet I am unable to click on one and have it selected. I can click, but it will just keep the list open. I can, however, type the name of the font, but it will never replace the Sans choice in the end. So in effect this makes the text editing within Inkscape unuseable.
So font handling in 0.46 and recent snapshots (I tried the one from 16th of May) is totally broken on Windows x64 SP2.

I attach two images. The first is the expected 0.45.1 behaviour, the second is 0.46 and you can see the font size drop-down selection box is missing some graphics. The Meiryo font selection is from my previous setting from 0.45.1, I cannot change this at all.

Mmm, it seems related or similar, yes.

I am not sure if I had seen that one before, but if I did I guess the thread confused me a bit.

I'm not sure if this a duplicate of bug #218502.

Many related problems were fixed. Please test with a newer release:

This report seems related to bug #168320 "References to non-installed fonts break text toolbar (can't change font; font size display errors)" which was fixed in time for the release of Inkscape 0.47. Do you still see this issue with Inkscape 0.47 r22583?

I don't see a corresponding build of that revision for Windows, is there one?

Apologies for providing confusing information - the download file is called 'Inkscape-0.47-3-win32.7z' for the Windows installer and 'inkscape-0.47-3-win32.zip' for the Windows application archive - you can download them from <http://sourceforge.net/projects/inkscape/files/inkscape/0.47/>. Once installed you can see the identical revision number (Inkscape 0.47 r22583) of the release version in the 'Help > About Inkscape' dialog.

Seems to work the way it should again. I could at least not replicate the old behaviour with the current version. So for all I care this issues get closed as resolved. Thanks!

I will close this report as 'Fix released'. Please add a comment and revert the bug status to 'New' if the error re-occurs in current Inkscape versions.
