Bug Description
Build: 1.0.1 20081103
Environment: Dell Mini 9
When trying to switch keyboard layouts after the initial setup and boot it is unclear the rules by which the keyboard preferences play. In this case a Spanish keyboard is being used and was set as a US layout in setup and when tried to change nothing would happen. Restart does not help, however intermittently the language you select will be set as the default (reasons undetermined). The only way to consistently change the language correctly is the set a new layout and delete the other keyboard profiles leaving only the desired language/layout. It seems like this should not have to be done as the system will let you store multiple keyboard profiles.

Same problem. I've configured the keyboard layout to switch between English and Greek with the combination Alt+Shift I was used to since Windows. Everything worked flawlessly until I updated to Hardy. Now the combination doesn't work unless I go to System- >Preferences- >Keyboard- >Layouts- >Layout Options->Layout switching and uncheck and recheck the Alt+Shift checkbox, every time I start up my PC.
