se bloquea al bajar mails

Baja los mails de una cuenta y cuando termina de bajarlos y debería pasar a otra cuenta, se bloquea, se pone la pantalla en gris y se queda como muerto.

This can be roughly translated to :

~~~ While downloading the mails from an account, and when it finish if it begin with another account : it gets stuck
 and the screen take the color gray, and keep die ~~~

sounds like compiz+mozilla issue there was somethiing where mozilla didnt use something that compiz did and that is why it greys cant remember if it freezes or not though but the gets stuck i will take as freezes. there is a dup of this if that is the reason. Are you using Desktop-Effects when this happens?
