I could not reproduce this crash. The site is Flash intense - this may be a problem with the Flash plugin, or swfdec, or gnash (whichever you're using). I'm using the same version of Firefox and the Adobe Flash plugin.

I did not have the problem, but another account on the same computer did. FF3 crashes immediately after trying to load the above website.
I renamed ~/.mozilla/plugins/flashplayer.xpt to something else, just to test if it helped and now the site loads fine...
the file is there too in my account but doesn't seem to hinder anything. I do block the annoying video ban with adblock though...
I hope this helps.

I am also using kubuntu hardy. I have the problem on two computers.
Both are upgraded from gutsy. I cannot access one of these machines at
the moment, so I can't provide more information on the flash version
for the moment. I can only say that it is flashplugin-nonfree.

Please leave it incomplete as we dont have all the info needed to mark confirmed. I need each person that can reproduce this bug to obtain a backtrace and if you are other than the person who filied the bug to file a new bug with your backtrace. I can only have one crash report per bug because the same site can crash 30 users and there be different reason/causes. Please follow the instructions listed below.
1. in terminal run "locate libflashsupport.so" without hte "
2. If it is found please remove it from system
3. If the problem is still there or you didnt find libflashsupport.so please continue to #4 if removing it fixed your issue please check to see if you have sound from 2 apps at same time if you dont please see bug #192888 and see if that is your issue.
4. Obtain backtrace by following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs
5. If not Original reporter please file a new bug and attach the backtrace to it, we will than mark it as a duplicate if we find it is the same.

PS. swfdec has also caused crashes please make sure that is not it if you find it just move it or rename it or start with a clean profile. maybe paste the output of locate swfdec on your own crash bug.

For what it's worth: konqueror does not crash on the same site.

At the moment, I have no access to the other computer where I can reproduce the crash, but that one is using the nvidia restricted drivers from the repositories. It also runs kubuntu hardy, upgraded from gutsy (original install there was feisty).

Uninstalling those solved this for me. (I do not have any other add-ons installed either)

The following add-ons are installed in my default profile:
* edit CSS
* Live HTTP Headers
* GreaseMonkey

Strange enough, I can't reproduce the crash anymore. This morning, it was still reproducable. Maybe something has changed on www.deredactie.be and the 'bug' is no longer triggered?

Did you install adblock+ from the net? have you tried the adblock-plus
package in the ubuntu archive?

Since somenoe else reports that its working, maybe its a sideeffect
from some other extension?

Maybe its because of some custom configurations of adblock plus?

OK, most likely unrelated. Maybe flash crashes. you could also try to
disable your extensions in Tools -> Addons.

I doubt that its a general greasmonkey thing. Have you tried to
disable your user-scripts and see which one causes this?
