support for different encoding type

Bug Description

As with gnome-terminal, it would be nice to support different encodings.

There is a list of encoding in gt source ./src/encoding.c (see TerminalEncoding).

Alternatively, we could use gnome terminal predefined values:
key /apps/gnome-terminal/global/active_encodings
