Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Ubuntu Hardy LTS
3.0~b5+
I keep folders of bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar, so that I can click on a given folder and select the bookmark I want from a dropdown menu.
The bookmarks in a particular folder are organized into sections, with a separator between sections.
I reorder the bookmarks in a folder the Bookmark Organizer, creating separators &etc.
The bookmarks are properly reordered in the dropdown menu for the active window.
However, if I open a new window, the bookmarks in the new window's dropdown are scrambled. If I select a different folder in the organizer, then select the same folder again, the bookmarks are scrambled in the same order as the dropdown.
Dragging and reordering bookmarks within the dropdown only works sporadically, and tends to have different results from what I expect.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.
