I confirm the bug: When you're receiving offline messages from 2 or more contacts the same time, AMSN 0.97 tcl/tk 8.5 (the one from the repositories) crashed the whole system (you need to restart the computer using the switch here)... Any solution for this?

I've found my self a workaround for this bug, googling it. It was found here http://www.amsn-project.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5407. It's pretty easy, so no explanations needed. So far it seems to solve the problem. All credit to billiob user there at amsn forums. Hope you'll find it usefull. This is the kind of bugs I hate when trying to get people out of win$... :-P
