Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
In Ubuntu 8.04, I receive the error "Firefox is already open but not responding." often when I trying to open two windows of Firefox.
I have noticed that this problem does not occur if I configure my xorg.conf to:
Option "xinerama" "true"
Which makes my two screens act as one big screen.
Strangely enough, even when I switch to a different workstation to open the second firefox window, I can not replicate the problem unless I do not have "Option "xinerama" "true"" off in my xorg.conf.
When this option is off, my two screens act as two separate desktops, and I could see this being a problem. However, if this was the reason for the problem, I believe it should also happen when I switch to a different workstation and open a new firefox window.

Accessing the same profile by two running ffox'es at the same time is
not supported as otherwise data-corruption would be too hard to
prevent.
