Bug Description
Binary package hint: synaptic
This is a wish.
It would be great to be able to tell synaptic to select the related *-doc and/or *-dev package when the user selects a package for installation.
Example, I select "glade" to install and synaptic would automatically select
"glade-doc". I select "libgtk2.0-0" to install and synaptic installs "libgtk2.0-dev"
and "libgtk2.0-doc" as well.
Could also use *-dbg as an option as well.
Cheers,
Zac

Thanks for your report.
I hardly see how it is possible if -dev or -doc is not in the recommends or suggest dependencies of the main package. At best we could add an option to select suggested packages when marking a package for installation.
