Bug Description
There is no way to configure pm-utils to force pm-hibernate to use "shutdown" rather than "platform" for kernel hibernation method.
acpi-support allows user configuration of shutdown vs platform.
This is important because "platform" fails on some machines.
For instance pm-hibernate under Hardy on my macbook 4,1 results in a tight loop and the machine never gets around to writing out to the swapfile. If I hand modify /usr/lib/
