screensaver freezes openarena

This ones odd to me but here we go
I was playing openarena and going on my 43rd frag when my screen saver went on...
I moved the mouse to get rid of it and the game shrunk to a smaller screen and wouldnt let me do anything, I did note that the mouse was moving VERY slow but the game AI looked and worked like normal. I tryed alt+f4 and esc to try to close the game but none worked. I finely restarted the computer.

Ditto, same problem. I believe I have seen the term "X aware" shot around; could it be that openarena is not?

I dont know But one thing I did have compiz on. once i turned it off it never did it again

I have the same problem, is the screensaver, but at disabling compiz isnt problem, XD

This problem has been fixed. It seems that with new Ubuntu versions, I don't get affected by this bug.

Not here, not on another PCs too, and some friends get it fixed by updating
