I cannot (or I don't find) name the file before printing to pdf. So it saves the PDF in HOME with the name of the page, and then I have to rename it and move it to the directory I want.
I'm using the 8.04 Hardy Heron in Spanish.

Yes, the PDF goes to: Home/PDF/[default name of the web].pdf.

The thing is that in the office work I extract lots of PDFs from the net that I classify in different folders, and Adobe in Windows gave the option to name the file and the directory, whereas Firefox does not, and I have to do it afterwards.

Also, if you print two different pages from the same domain, the second one overwrites the first (as the default name is the web). So I cannot work quickly, for example taking different news from the same web magazine, as I need to go each time to the pdf download directory and rename the file.

Thanks,
Dan

in print dialog you can use the "print to file" printer ... there you can select the directory.

When the filename contains quotes, Firefox can't export the page to PDF but nevertheless no error message is reported to the user. It's very frustrating because the user thinks that the page is saved, but it isn't,
