Delay in menus after enabling second X screen

After enabling the second X screen (via nvidia-settings), compiz menu fade effect is broken. This is not TwinView setup, but a separate X running on each of the screens.

1) Fade effect is not displayed anymore

2) There is considerable delay when opening any menu (Panel, pop-up, application)

Workaround: Disable desktop effects in Appearance preferences
