Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Firefox 3.0b5 (installed by ubuntu 8.04) has at least twice now hung, leaving all running firefox windows without repaint/update events (move a window in front of it and 'paint' it). Forcing the windows to disappear via xkill then killing any remaining processes (ps auxw | grep -i firefox, get #, then kill -9) still leaves my machine in a state where I can't start firefox - nothing happens. Rebooting ubuntu fixes it. This didn't happen in the default firefox (some version of 2) that comes with ubuntu 7.10.

Actually sorry about that, I just noticed that the plugin log was attached to the bug report...

Could you just indicate how I could go about re-creating this bug?

Thanks,
