Bug Description

Both my girlfriend and I use the same computer at home, and I always leave my gnome session opened, and she opens a new one when she wants to use the computer.

The problem is the same, but I have two examples:
-> When she connects her iPod, rythmbox starts on both our sessions (windows don't have any decoration in my session, but I think that's a compiz issue)
-> When she tries to play a DVD, Totem starts on both our sessions as well, but the dvd has been mounted with my account, which means she can't unmount/eject it. Playback failed as well, I'm not really sure why, but I think it's because two instances of totem were trying to read the same DVD...

I can send more information, I'm just not sure what to send yet.

I've seen the same thing with the DVDs. It was really confusing because totem appeared to be having troubles with the DVD and when I closed it, I could still hear the DVD playing. I was really confused til I realized it was playing in the other session...
