vpnc dies with Interrupted system call and/or signal 15

I am trying to use vpnc (via kvpnc) with a profile that works working under Gutsy. However, I am getting disconnects every 30 seconds or so and this in syslog:

I tried the gutsy packages, as well as the packages found here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vpnc/+bug/206673/comments/4

This does *not* appear to be a duplicate of #96427, as the message do not seem to have anything to do with dead peer detection.

I can confirm this bug wich happen on a gutsy update.
after thirty second vpn crash.

I confirm this bug and I think it's upstream. I don't use ubuntu, but it's the same in my distro (archlinux) and I've seen this bug on other trackers as well. People even think it might have something to do with the kernel... This only happens with one of 4 vpn servers I'm connecting to, so I guess it's also depending on the server configuration.
