Bug Description
Binary package hint: kopete
Kubuntu Hardy 8.04 x86 edition
KDE 3.5.9
Kopete 0.12.7
Apparently, the spellchecker that Kopete uses will catch the hidden HTML tags used by the application, and thus try to correct them. A user who does not know about those tags might try to "correct" the tag, not knowing that it should not be messed with. It's not really a major bug, but can become a hassle. I would expect the tags to be ignored, rather than seen.
I have included a screencast showcasing the problem.

While trying to triage this bug I have tried double clicking on a contact and typing a word wrong, then right click in the chat window and went to spell check... It didn't catch any HTML tags...
