Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

Thinkpad internet navigation buttons (0xea and 0xe9) do not bind under compiz.

Reproducable under Ubuntu 8.04 with the following Thinkpad models:

X30
X41
T60

These buttons are located above the left and right arrow keys respectively.

It works with Visual Effects turned off.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.

I have re-confirmed that this issue persists on a Thinkpad T60 running 8.04.2 Will upgrade "soon" and report back.
