DVD file doesn't mount with user read permissions

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-volume-manager

/dev/scd0 on /media/cdrom0 type udf (ro,nosuid,nodev,utf8,user=reg

In dmesg I get:
Lot of messages like: [ 4161.556686] FAT: Directory bread(block 152) failed # (block differ)
[10559.672869] UDF-fs: Partition marked readonly; forcing readonly mount
[10559.675668] UDF-fs INFO UDF 0.9.8.1 (2004/29/09) Mounting volume 'DVD_VOLUME', timestamp 1970/01/01 01:00 (103c)

When I try play the dvd, I get:
rego@linovski-laptop:~$ totem /media/cdrom0
** Message: Error: Could not open file "/media/cdrom0/VIDEO_RM" for reading.
gstfilesrc.c(982): gst_file_src_start (): /play/source:
system error: Permission denied

Just work with:
sudo totem /media/cdrom0
