Bug Description

I tried to play a DRM encrypted WMA music file with Totem Media Player and it freezed the computer. The keyboard didn't work only the mouse. I couldn't even change to terminal with Ctrl-Alt-F1. Then I pushed the power button first shortly (it is set up to turn off the comuter) and then long to turn off radically. The wentillator did not stop and the power led was still on. I had to remove the battery to fix the problem. My laptop is a HP Compaq nx6310 which has other bugs in the ACPI. (Lid button doesn't work for example.)

Second time the user logged out.
Third time the player only freezed.

I have the message, "this is encrypted and cannot be read".
But no freeze.

So do I.
I do not think that Totem or gstreamer support DRMs.

I don't get a freeze here but the drm format is supported by the gst-fluendo-drm available trough their cvs, not an ubuntu bug, thanks.
