Bug Description

The launcher should execute as "gksu lshw-gtk" instead of normal user "lshw-gtk"

I agree. There is no sense in adding a launcher for this tool in the menu without gksu in front.

Looks like this has been fixed in Debian in a slightly different way:

  * [ef94e6e] Added gksu launcher to .desktop.
    Thanks to Javier Fernández-Sanguino Peña (JFS) (Closes: #537903)

Exec=su-to-root -X -c lshw-gtk

I don't plan on doing SRUs for these myself, but opening the tasks in case anyone else would like to. The issue doesn't seem that serious to me, but the fix is pretty trivial and SRUs should be easy to push through if you're so inclined.
