Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-games

i flagged a mine, then clicked a 1 next to it to uncover nearby tiles and it actually uncovered the tile i have just flagged, making me lose the game. it's actually the first time it happened to me, and it seems like for some reason it registered the flag for the purpose of uncovering tiles near the 1, but not for the purpose of not uncovering the tile, maybe because i clicked the two in rapid succession.

i'm running an up-to-date hardy on an acer aspire 5315.

attaching screenshot (notice how the tile with explosion has a flag in it).

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it, because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.
We have instructions on debugging some types of problems. http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures
At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
Thanks!

well, i thought i described it clearly, but okay:
1. i played the game normally, then right-clicked the tile which has a flag and explosion in (see screenshot) to flag it, and right after that left-clicked the tile to the right of it (marked with one).
2.
- i expected tiles adjacent to the left-clicked tile to be uncovered (iirc, the yet-uncovered tiles were the 2, 1 and 1 near the bottom) without triggerring the previously flagged mine.
- also, usually, when the number of flags near an uncovered tile is smaller than the number in the tile (as would be the case if the game didn't register the flag at all), nothing happens when you click the tile.
3. the tiles were uncovered correctly, but the flagged tile was also uncovered, triggering the mine.

well, after some testing i found out that the bug is not hard to reproduce at all, so it's not quite as uncommon as i have thought, and so i guess it could be quite annoying for some people.
steps to reproduce:
1. uncover a tile and find out where the mines around it are.
2. flag all but one of the mines as normal (preferably leave one that is on a tile with a common edge with the uncovered tile, to make step 3 easier).
3. flag the remaining mine and IMMEDIATELY left-click the chosen uncovered tile. the mine will explode despite having been flagged before, even if there are no tiles to uncover. if you don't make it on the first try, you can just unflag it and try again.

I can confirm this bug. I don't have anything to add to the description; everything occured exactly the way Tomaz Rzepecki described. You do have to be playing at quite a rapid clip, though.

Ah, forgot to add: I'm also on Hardy and fully up-to-date. Running on a Dell Inspiron E1505, but the hardware's probably irrelevant.
