I have same problem. When I access The Pragmatic Bookshelf website (http://www.pragprog.com/), it happens for every page in that site.

When I used Firefox 2.x, there are no problems. However, after upgrade Firefox 3.0 by system, this unhappy situation happens.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

My problems was solved. It's caused by a kind of crashing between firefox 3.0 and CSS code of pragmatic bookshelf site. They inserted it for resolve firefox 2.x CSS problem (yeah.. it's relics of ancient times :-)). But now, they've removed it, everything work very well.
