Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

When I have about 20 SSID (wireless network) around, scroll list on network manager become very slow, Ubuntu become a little unstable...
I must disable network and enable again but problem appear again...

could you test whether this issue persists in network-manager 0.7? We provide preview backports for hardy in the network-manager team PPA (https://edge.launchpad.net/~network-manager/+archive). Take care those are experimental packages. so be prepared to downgrade _with_ lost network in worst case (usually that shouldnt happen).

On a epc901 running 9.04, I've the very same problem, very slow to reach the vpn connection due to the slow scroll and the small screen.
What information can I provide?

I'm also using xserver-xorg-video-intel-2.4 for compatibility, but I cant see a similar bug on my OS.

Same problem appear on jaunty with small screen. This problem can be linked with an other bug : Bug #365953

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release the Karmic Koala. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu.
