timer applet crashed after stopping it

After being fixed for a while (at least on my machines with all Ubuntu updates) this is again a problem.
I think it has to do with not matching timer-applet to the latest python, but that's just a wild guess on my part.

However, according to this report, you are not using the most recent version of this package for your Ubuntu release.
