Bug Description

A system with dual-head (one incorporated laptop display 1680x1050 and one external VGA display 1280x1024, with xorg.conf modified to include a "Virtual" field)

1. open a page that has an embedded object that requires mplayer (e.g. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilhelm_scream). It does not matter whether firefox is in the main or secondary screen.
2. notice that the secondary (external) monitor gets dark for about 2 seconds.
3. notice that the secondary monitor's image gets properly restored afterwards.

Not enough information provided to troubleshoot. Works for me on karmic with -ati.

Besides, x11-xserver-utils is the wrong package for a bug such as this anyway.
