Binary package hint: openoffice.org

bug found in openoffice 2.4 using in hardy heron

when activating the format paintbrush in a word processor document, the tool is deactivated when switching to another word processor document, thus making it impossible to paste text formats between separate documents.

The documentation doesn't claim it works between documents so this is a wishlist bug for feature enhancement. I will send it to upstream.
