Bug Description

Binary package hint: virt-manager

I'm running Hardy Final. I'm using kvm/virt-manager and trying to install a guest via cd-rom but the cd-rom option is greyed out in the guest install wizard within virt-manager.

I checked ~/.virt-manager/virt-manager.log and here's what I found

[Sun, 04 May 2008 16:48:53 virt-manager 13075] ERROR (opticalhelper:39) Unable to connect to HAL to list cdrom volumes: 'org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied: A security policy in place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient, see message bus configuration file (rejected message hadinterface "(unset)" member "GetPropertyBoolean" error name "(unset)" destination ":1.5")'
[Sun, 04 May 2008 16:48:53 virt-manager 13075] ERROR (create:145) Unable to create optical-helper widget: 'org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied: A security policy in place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient, see message bus configuration file (rejected message had interface "(unset)" member "GetPropertyBoolean" error name "(unset)" destination ":1.5")'
[Sun, 04 May 2008 16:48:53 virt-manager 13075] DEBUG (connection:418) Unable to get max vcpu

It looks like there's an issue with dbus. When searching for this error online it seems this is a bug.
