enabling overclocking cause a system freeze
i'm using a standard xubuntu installation.
the system occurs both with the standard kernel 2.6.24-19 and with the customized kernel (same version) from array.org

fan speed setting does not work also.

sorry, my fault, i was using powernowd.
installing cpufrequtils and loading all necessary modules fixed the overclock problem

problems with fan always persist.
only normal and fast speed (1 and 5 %) works.
also automatic fan speed works.

I am setting this bug's status to Fix Released based on the software being package for Intrepid.
