Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

System: brand-new Hardy-Installation out-of-the-box

Central firefox settings in firefox.cfg doesn't have any effect. I would like to lock the proxy-settings systemwide
(see attached firefox.cfg file) - This file works in dapper!

Another try was a "encypted" mozilla.cfg loded via "pref("general.config.filename", "mozilla.cfg"); " in all.js
But it's the same to, the proxy settings where NOT locked!

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
