Dark themes won't work

Bug Description

If a dark theme is chosen, for example DarkLooks, it won't work, as soon as an application which is not nautilus (and maybe some other applications) the theme will break and go back to defaults for almost all windows (Firefox, Calculator, Screenshot Utility, Gimp, etc.). It seems it could be a bug in the way gtkrc is read, because themes which have hardcoded values, and not gtk_color_scheme, does not seem to break. Hope you can fix this...

I confirm this.

You can easily reproduce this for example like this:
1. Select Human theme.
2. Select Darklooks theme
3. log out
4. log in
5. open any gtk application (nautilus for example)
What happens:
all contols look bright again
What should happen:
all controls should look dark
